Syrian History: Before the World War I Syria was controlled by the Ottoman Empire (Turkey).France made an agreement for the Syrian Govt named as Sykes-Picot Agreement in 1916.The Agreement Was about to Defeat the Ottoman Empire.As They Succeed France put the Country in its control and spread his Military in different regions of Syria in 1920. The people of Syria Want Syria as an Independent Country So they Serious actions to become free from the France in 1936, Hashim al-Atassi was the First president of Syria.
